Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

The Manufacturing Engineer will report directly to the CTO and work on‑site in Singapore. You will collaborate with design, production and operations teams to build and scale BeeX’s manufacturing line for advanced autonomous underwater vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing plans, work instructions, test plans and BOMs while coordinating with engineering and production.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot production issues, performing root‑cause analysis on equipment, processes and quality deviations.
• Maintain manufacturing floor quality through inspections, compliance checks and corrective actions.
• Keep detailed records of quality tests, inspections and audits, and generate performance reports.
• Drive continuous improvement by optimizing assembly procedures, tooling and defect reduction.
• Train staff on quality standards, procedures and best practices.
• Manage supplier quality to ensure raw materials and components meet specifications.
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with industry regulations and customer requirements.
• Provide day‑to‑day technical and engineering support to operating areas.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer or related Engineering.
• 3–6 years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of product development and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.
• Good organization and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Altium Designer and other PCB CAD software.
• 2D schematic, wire harnessing and cable assembly design tools.
• EMI‑EMC testing expertise.
• Vibration testing experience.
• Temperature testing experience.
• Humidity testing experience.
