Manufacturing Technician

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician you will work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building, repairing and testing high‑value display and wafer fabrication equipment. You will support the production of semiconductor and advanced display technologies that power everyday devices.

Key responsibilities

• Follow work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists to assemble, repair and test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repairs under moderate supervision.
• Receive parts, conduct audits, inspect for defects and suggest process improvements.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to verify assemblies and sub‑assemblies.
• Complete required documentation, record labor and expense data, and perform computer programming, repairs or software installations when needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in semiconductor or display manufacturing, or a comparable technical environment.
• Ability to work under moderate supervision in a cleanroom setting.

Required skills

• Electro‑mechanical assembly and troubleshooting.
• Electrical, vacuum and pneumatic system knowledge.
• Use of test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps.
• Reading schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Basic computer programming and software installation.
