M&E Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced M&E Coordinator to lead the mechanical and electrical subcontractors and act as the main point of contact with consultants on construction projects across Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and report progress of work to the project manager.
• Prepare method statements and resolve drawing discrepancies.
• Handle project planning, design, material requisition, cost control, supervision and documentation.
• Control the progress of RFAs, RFIs, shop drawings, technical submissions and equipment/material procurement to ensure on‑time completion.
• Maintain MEP drawing management and on‑site documentation filing.
• Coordinate with client representatives, consultants and subcontractors on all technical matters.
• Supervise site progress and installation quality according to approved drawings and schedules.
• Assist in supervising MEP services and collaborate with other departments.
• Support preparation of progress claim evaluations and variation work.
• Participate in project review, site, design and other relevant meetings.
• Conduct M&E technical meetings, resolve issues and keep records.
• Coordinate M&E drawings, produce CSD and individual service drawings.
• Maintain site inspection and testing & commissioning records.
• Perform QA/QC inspections, manage RE/RTO and ensure clearance to meet construction schedules.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering recognized by the PE Board Singapore.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on building and construction projects in Singapore.
• Experience with HDB or high‑rise developments.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Design‑and‑build experience is an advantage.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus.
