M&E Electrical Engineer – Singapore

About the role

We are seeking a motivated M&E Engineer with a focus on electrical and ELV systems to join our team in Singapore. The role involves supervising site installations, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and ensuring that project schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate site installation works with in‑house supervisors and foremen.
• Attend coordination meetings with main contractors, consultants and other trade contractors.
• Provide hands‑on technical assistance for Electrical/ELV system installation and troubleshooting.
• Prepare material requisitions, work programmes and track project costs against budget.
• Carry out testing, commissioning and handover of completed works with as‑built drawings and O&M documentation.
• Review 3D BIM models to verify installation details and compliance with design specifications.
• Participate in in‑house design work, including load calculations, voltage‑drop analysis, cable sizing, routing and equipment selection.
• Liaise with suppliers for quotations, technical and commercial evaluation, and prepare material submittals for approval.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in building construction, preferably with Building Services Electrical/ELV works.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong project management abilities, including timeline, budget and resource coordination.
• Knowledge of BCA/SCDF/PUB authority requirements is an advantage.
