Medical Science Liaison – Cardiorenal‑Metabolic (Singapore)

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison will act as the subject‑matter expert for the company’s cardiorenal‑metabolic portfolio in Singapore, driving medical affairs strategy and supporting brand objectives in line with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute medical strategy for relevant therapeutic areas.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional leads to support therapeutic area brand plans and ensure timely execution of key tactics.
• Create and implement scientific communication plans to engage healthcare professionals (HCPs) and deepen their understanding of clinical management.
• Organise advisory boards, scientific consultations and other feedback mechanisms, documenting and disseminating insights.
• Provide medical education platforms, train the sales force on emerging clinical data, and review promotional materials and package inserts.
• Support medical information enquiries, safety reporting and ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of medical and scientific advances and deliver training sessions.
• Facilitate activities such as advisory board meetings, Continuing Medical Education, speaker development and Key Opinion Leader engagement.

Required profile

• Physician (MBBS or MD) preferred or Scientist (PhD).
• Experience in cardiorenal‑metabolic therapeutic areas (preferred).
• Minimum two years of experience in a similar Medical Science Liaison role within a multinational environment.
• Scientific expertise in autoimmune, cardiometabolic, dermatology or related specialist fields.
• Strong analytical and conceptual capabilities.
• Confident, articulate communicator with ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and change‑leadership skills.
