Staff Nurse – National TB Programme

About the role

The National TB Programme at Tan Tock Seng Hospital is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to support TB contact investigations and mass‑screening activities. You will work closely with the Contact Tracing Team and public health educators to ensure high‑quality patient care and effective disease control.

Key responsibilities

• Perform contact investigations for active TB cases.
• Support TB cluster investigations, conduct on‑site screening (blood collection and interviews), and provide public education during mass‑screening exercises.
• Assist the Contact Tracing Team in establishing operational procedures and managing medical equipment and supplies.
• Support training and education activities under the NCID/NTBP framework.
• Deliver clinical nursing procedures that meet patients' immediate physical and emotional needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board.
• Self‑motivated, able to work well in a team, and adaptable to a dynamic environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
