About the role
Ordinary Folk is an AI‑enabled telehealth company operating in Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan. We are seeking a Head of Operations to build and lead the end‑to‑end operational engine across all three markets, reporting directly to the CEO.
Key responsibilities
- Design and manage the multi‑market supply chain for prescription medications, including pharmacy operations, fulfilment and last‑mile delivery.
- Own vendor and supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and optimise cost, quality and speed.
- Oversee customer‑service teams across Hong Kong, the Philippines and Japan, driving performance and a CSAT‑focused culture.
- Coordinate scheduling, onboarding and quality monitoring of doctors in all markets.
- Lead clinic licensing and regulatory compliance initiatives in Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan.
- Build the operational infrastructure and playbook for the Japanese market, requiring native‑level Japanese fluency.
- Document, systematise and scale operational processes.
- Manage a team of 8+ direct and indirect reports and collaborate with engineering, marketing and AI‑driven analytics.
Required profile
- Native or near‑native Japanese language proficiency and fluent English.
- 8+ years of experience in operations, supply‑chain or healthcare operations.
- Proven track record managing multi‑country operational functions.
- Strong experience in pharmacy, vendor management and regulatory environments.
