About the role
The Merchandiser Intern will support the merchandising team in planning, reporting, and inventory management to ensure optimal product availability and sales performance. The role focuses on leather goods and accessories while also assisting other categories as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and update weekly merchandising reports to track sales performance and stock movement.
- Prepare and manage Stock Transfer (ST) and Sales Tracking reports to support inventory decisions.
- Handle store requests, including Out‑of‑Stock (OOZ) issues, ensuring timely resolution and replenishment.
- Support headquarters in rebalancing inventory and setting Target Stock (TS) levels.
- Build and maintain Month‑to‑Date (MTD) trackers to monitor business performance against targets.
- Provide reporting assistance during buying cycles, including preview and markdown reports.
- Gather product feedback from stores and contribute to basic trend analysis.
Required profile
- Fluent in English.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with store teams and headquarters.
- Interest in fashion, particularly leather goods and accessories.
