Multi-Skilled Facilities Technician

About the role

JLL is hiring a Multi-Skilled Facilities Technician in Singapore, an on-site, hands-on role that forms the technical backbone of a building's operations. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate third-party vendors and keep essential building infrastructure reliable, contributing to operational excellence and client service.

Key responsibilities

• Complete and sign off daily facility checklists so building systems run efficiently and meet performance standards.
• Supervise and coordinate third-party vendors, making sure periodic preventive maintenance is done and documented.
• Monitor electrical and mechanical equipment, perform basic troubleshooting and carry out corrective actions when faults occur.
• Respond quickly to helpdesk tickets and follow them through to resolution, keeping accurate closure records.
• Work with the Manager and data centre personnel to schedule equipment downtime for preventive maintenance with minimal disruption.
• Process permits to work (PTW) and air-conditioning extension requests with the landlord, in line with facility protocols.
• Maintain service reports in physical and digital formats, and report any issues affecting building services or tenant comfort to the Assistant Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum high school education, 2 years in trades or equivalent.
• 1+ years of data centre engineering and maintenance service experience preferred.
• Experience supervising vendors.
• Ability to write and speak in reports; exposure to ACMV, mechanical, electrical and fire systems preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts for 7/24 support.

Required skills

• Basic computer applications and software such as MS Office.
• ACMV and electrical engineering background preferred.
