Technical Officer - Building Services

About the role

JLL is hiring a Technical Officer in Singapore, working on-site. The role supports the M&E executives and leads the technicians in delivering technical services for buildings, covering maintenance, tenant fit-outs and landlord subdivision works.

Key responsibilities

• M&E systems: assist the M&E executives with day-to-day maintenance and operations, ensure systems run safely and in line with design specifications, and supervise the preventive maintenance plan.
• Procure M&E and building parts for repairs and replacements, administer PTWs, manage vendors and verify completed works.
• Supervise contractors and technicians so that repair and maintenance work meets timelines and standards, and inspect plumbing fittings and test by-pass timers and controls.
• Monitor utility consumption and equipment readings, recommend cost-saving measures and approve durability improvements.
• Tenant fit-outs: coordinate and monitor fit-out works, review tenant submissions with the landlord's vetting consultants, check post-fit-out conditions before releasing the deposit, and oversee reinstatement works.
• Landlord subdivision: track budgets and oversee subdivision works.
• Support tenants with handover documents, additional power, emergency power, chilled water requests, and opening, closing or terminating electricity accounts; attend meetings with prospects, tenants and owners and complete questionnaires and RFPs.
• Prepare weekly tenancy fit-out status reports.

Required profile

• Diploma in Building Services, Real Estate or its equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience.
• Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• A proactive, solution-oriented, meticulous and independent team player who is flexible and dependable.
