Network Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Network Lead to own and drive our enterprise, data‑center and OT network infrastructure, with a strong focus on Fortinet security architecture. The role will lead the network engineering team, serve as the senior technical escalation point, and ensure secure, resilient, high‑performance network operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the L1/L2 network engineering team, managing daily operations, workload allocation and technical escalations.
• Design, deploy and optimise Fortinet security solutions including FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiAP and FortiSwitch.
• Act as the L3 escalation point for complex network and security incidents, driving root‑cause analysis and resolution.
• Define network architecture and standards across enterprise, data‑center and OT environments, ensuring scalability, resilience and security.
• Drive network security initiatives such as segmentation, firewall policy governance, SD‑WAN/VPN and ZTNA implementation.
• Manage vendor relationships for Fortinet and other network technologies, handling licensing, support and renewals.
• Lead change management, capacity planning and disaster‑recovery/business‑continuity planning for the network.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure and OT teams to ensure secure IT/OT integration.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies, audit requirements and industry best practices.
• Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs and a knowledge base for consistent network operations.

Required profile

• 7‑10+ years of hands‑on network engineering experience in complex environments.
• Expert‑level proficiency with Fortinet technologies and a valid NSC3 or NSC4 certification.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring a network engineering team.
• Strong understanding of network protocols such as BGP, OSPF, VLAN, STP and QoS.
• Experience with OT networks, industrial communication protocols and securing IT/OT integration points.
