New Product Introduction & Sustaining Engineer

About the role

This position designs and delivers engineering solutions for new product introductions and sustaining activities. You will work with cross‑functional project teams to ensure products are reliable, cost‑effective, and meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design low‑ to moderately‑complex products, systems, and software using established engineering principles.
• Develop and execute test plans for mechanical, electrical, and software specifications.
• Inspect machinery and tools, identify deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Optimize designs through analytical and physical assessments to improve efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with internal and outsourced partners to deliver designs on time and within budget.
• Prepare technical reports, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Create acceleration techniques, analytical tools, and quality screens for early problem detection.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in engineering design, design tools, or related disciplines.
• Familiarity with product certification processes and Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
