Operation Manager – Construction

About the role

The Operations Manager (Construction) will lead the delivery of renovation projects across Singapore, ensuring that crews, equipment and subcontractors are aligned with project requirements. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be accountable for safety, quality, financial performance and overall operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate workforce and machinery to projects based on skill sets, project phase and real‑time availability.
• Develop and manage subcontractor contracts, monitor milestone performance and resolve disputes to avoid delays.
• Maintain direct legal accountability for safety and quality compliance on all sites.
• Oversee project budgets, track cost‑to‑complete, and identify margin erosion early.
• Provide real‑time visibility of project status across all active sites.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in construction operations or renovation management.
• Proven track record of managing large crews, equipment fleets and multiple subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality standards with legal accountability.
• Demonstrated financial oversight skills, including budget monitoring and cost control.
• Ability to make decisions quickly and resolve issues before they impact project delivery.
