Project Site Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Project Site Engineer to lead electrical works during the construction phase on Jurong Island. The role involves managing a multidisciplinary team and ensuring all electrical installations meet design and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute electrical works including cable tray installation, cable pulling, panel installation, cable termination and testing/commissioning of MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS and DCIS/HMI.
• Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with design documents and safety regulations.
• Manage a team of supervisors, sub‑contractors and vendors, providing technical clarifications to the operational team.
• Investigate and troubleshoot electrical switchgear faults, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare maintenance documentation, method statements and risk assessments in line with BCA requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth project completion.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical construction projects and team leadership.
• Strong ability to communicate technical information and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Problem‑solving skills for troubleshooting and improving equipment reliability.
