Operations Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Operations Coordinator to join our Singapore branch and support daily freight forwarding activities. The role requires strong knowledge of air and sea shipping processes and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily air and sea freight forwarding operations.
• Coordinate cross‑shipments, focusing on ex/to Batam trade routes.
• Liaise with carriers, suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Prepare bookings and shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs declarations.
• Monitor shipment status and provide proactive updates to clients.
• Resolve operational issues and discrepancies efficiently.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to improve client satisfaction and optimize processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding and logistics operations.
• Strong understanding of both air and sea freight processes.
• Hands‑on experience with cross‑trade business, especially Batam routes.
• Demonstrated customer service excellence.
• Full proficiency in English and valid work rights for Singapore.
