About the role
The Senior Supply Chain Manager will lead components sourcing, supply chain analytics and order fulfilment within an EMS environment, supporting global operations and customer demand.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage components sourcing and purchasing teams to ensure material availability and optimise inventory.
- Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships, driving cost reduction, lead‑time improvement and continuity of supply.
- Support customer RFQs by providing accurate material cost inputs, BOM costing and risk assessments.
- Own supply chain analytics on material costs, trends and supplier price movements, creating dashboards and reports.
- Identify and execute cost‑reduction initiatives, alternate sourcing and VA/VE opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, sales and finance on NPI, pricing strategies and supplier development.
