Operations Management Manager

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an Operations Management Manager to lead production and supply‑chain activities at its Singapore site. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient, cost‑effective manufacturing that meets customer quality and delivery expectations while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and monitor production metrics, budgets, and corrective actions.
• Plan, control, and evaluate project schedules and plant capacity.
• Optimize resource utilization to minimize costs and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Direct, guide, and evaluate personnel to achieve production and supply‑chain goals while adhering to 5S, safety, and quality standards.
• Lead problem‑solving initiatives and process‑improvement projects.
• Drive continuous‑improvement, Lean, safety, and quality programs.
• Identify and implement new technologies to improve cycle time, efficiency, and profitability.
• Collaborate with senior management to align operations development with business opportunities.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and development for direct reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience establishing and monitoring production using metrics and budgets.
• Strong ability to plan and control project schedules and plant capacity.
• Demonstrated expertise in optimizing resource utilization and cost reduction.
• Leadership experience directing and developing operational teams.
• Track record of leading continuous‑improvement and Lean initiatives.
• Experience working closely with senior management on operational strategy.
