Operations Pharmacist – Transformation & Analytics

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Pharmacist who is passionate about questioning the status‑quo and driving innovative change. In this role you will blend pharmacy expertise with data, technology and automation to redesign workflows, solve complex operational challenges and deliver measurable improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily pharmacy operations, ensuring safe, accurate and timely medication preparation and distribution.
• Manage and coach Pharmacy Technicians, Assistants and locum staff, allocating resources and monitoring performance.
• Analyse operational data, develop dashboards, KPIs and reports to support data‑driven decisions.
• Identify, design and implement automation, AI and digital solutions to eliminate bottlenecks.
• Partner with IT and vendors as the Pharmacy System Super‑user, supporting system adoption, testing and contingency workflows.
• Lead or support cross‑functional strategic projects focused on analytics, process improvement and digital transformation.
• Redesign SOPs, work instructions and workflows, measure outcomes and ensure sustainable improvements.

Required profile

• Qualified pharmacist with a strong analytical mindset.
• Curious, entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to challenge existing processes.
• Proven ability to lead teams, coach staff and manage operational resources.
• Experience collaborating with IT, vendors and multi‑disciplinary teams.
