Part-time Retail Store Assistant – 4‑day week at Cake & Cupcake Store

About the role

We are looking for a friendly part‑time Retail Store Assistant to join our busy cake and cupcake shop in Bugis, Singapore. The role offers a flexible 4‑day work week with short shifts of 2‑4 hours, making it ideal for students or anyone seeking extra income while delivering excellent customer service in a vibrant bakery environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations, including stock replenishment, display setup and product packaging.
• Take customer orders accurately, answer inquiries and provide courteous service.
• Handle cashiering, process payments and issue receipts.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with food safety regulations.
• Ensure product freshness and assist in preparing bakery items for sale.

Required profile

• Possess a valid Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate.
• Available to start immediately and work 3‑4 days per week, including weekends and public holidays.
• Willing to follow a rostered schedule and accept short shift lengths.
• Able to stand for extended periods and communicate effectively with customers.
