Part‑Time Resident Technical Officer – Civil & Structural

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Resident Technical Officer (RTO) specialised in Civil & Structural works to support an upcoming project in Singapore’s Holland area. The role involves 1–2 site visits per week, each lasting 2–4 hours, with flexible scheduling including weekend visits.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out site inspections and supervise civil & structural works in line with approved drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Monitor workmanship, construction progress and compliance with plans.
• Identify and report any discrepancies, defects or non‑compliance on site.
• Coordinate with the project team, contractors and consultants on C&S matters.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, reports and documentation.
• Attend site meetings and inspections as required.
• Ensure all activities comply with safety and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Relevant experience as a Civil & Structural Resident Technical Officer.
• Possession of the appropriate RTO accreditation/registration.
• Ability to register with the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) for the project.
• Commitment to the full 6‑month contract duration.
