People Operations Partner, Equity

About the role

Airwallex, the AI-native financial operating system used by more than 675,000 businesses, is hiring a People Operations Partner for its global equity operations. You will own the end-to-end equity program (RSUs, ESOPs and related programs), covering grant, exercise, termination, documentation and project execution. The role works closely with Total Rewards, Finance, Legal, Payroll, Tax and regional People teams, and is based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Lead global employee equity programs across the full lifecycle, from grant and vesting through exercise, termination and post-termination treatment, ensuring accuracy, consistency and timeliness across entities and regions.
• Manage equity documentation, approvals, records and communications with Legal, Finance, Tax, Total Rewards and regional People teams, and provide clear, timely support to employees and stakeholders.
• Develop scalable guidance and self-service resources for common equity questions.
• Maintain high-quality equity data and reporting for business planning, accounting, audits and regulatory or tax requirements, and strengthen operational controls so processes stay compliant and audit-ready.
• Support strategic equity programs and events such as annual grants, liquidity programs, scheme transitions and retention or relocation initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and automate equity operations while keeping strong governance and data integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, human resources or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years of direct experience in global equity administration in a high-growth technology, fintech or multinational environment.
• Demonstrated experience administering international equity programs (RSUs, stock options, ESOPs) across multiple entities or jurisdictions.
• Proven ability to process, analyze and reconcile high-volume, multi-system data with accuracy and attention to data integrity.
• Experience supporting employee queries and operational workflows with clear prioritization, ownership and service-level discipline.
• Comprehensive understanding of the equity lifecycle and the controls needed for accurate, complete, audit-ready records.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience supporting equity operations at a pre-IPO or late-stage private company, including tender offers, equity purchase or bonus swap programs and scheme transitions.
• Familiarity with global equity compliance structures, including trusts, local holding or trust entities and EOR arrangements.
• Experience partnering with Total Rewards, Finance, Legal and Tax to turn plan or policy changes into scalable workflows and system configurations.
• Track record of identifying process gaps and improving, automating or standardizing equity operations.
