Plant Manager

About the role

Maybell Quantum is building its first operations facility in Singapore and needs a hands‑on Plant Manager to launch and run the production line for its dilution refrigerators. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end execution of manufacturing, from line layout to repeatable, on‑schedule output.

Key responsibilities

• Design and qualify the production and test layout, specifying tooling, fixtures and equipment.
• Transfer manufacturing, test and inspection processes from the US site and ensure compliance with global build standards.
• Lead first‑article build and validation, close out findings, and ramp the line to sustained rate production.
• Own on‑time delivery, yield, throughput and cost per unit; manage aggressive production schedules.
• Maintain shop‑floor inventory accuracy, kitting and consumption; flag supply risks early.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, routings and production documentation for a newly trained workforce.
• Hire, onboard and develop production engineers, technicians and supervisors; establish training, certification and skills matrices.
• Set daily/weekly operating rhythms, lead shift handoffs and production meetings, and stay hands‑on on the hardware.

Required profile

• Proven manufacturing leadership experience in high‑tech or complex hardware environments.
• Demonstrated ability to design, install and qualify production lines.
• Experience transferring processes across sites and achieving global build standards.
• Track record of taking a line from first‑article build to sustained rate production.
• Strong capability in schedule management, inventory control and documentation.
• Experience hiring, training and developing production teams.
