About the role

The new Tengah General and Community Hospital is building a cutting‑edge pharmacy informatics function. As Principal Pharmacist, Informatics Specialist you will lead the integration of technology into pharmacy operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and future‑ready medication services.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and enhance the use of technology across pharmacy workflows.
• Research, evaluate, and procure innovative technology solutions.
• Implement, configure, and integrate selected systems with existing hospital platforms.
• Lead testing, troubleshooting, and post‑implementation support, including after‑hours assistance for champion users.
• Develop training materials and conduct user training for new systems.
• Manage data audits, extraction, reporting, and ensure compliance with pharmacy standards.
• Coordinate with procurement, medical informatics, and other stakeholders to align technology deployments.
• Document user requirements, system specifications, and maintain comprehensive system documentation.
