Procurement Associate

About the role

Secretlab is looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Procurement Associate to support sourcing and purchasing activities across product and business initiatives. The role will ensure timely material availability, cost visibility and effective supplier coordination while working closely with internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Collect supplier pricing, prepare cost comparisons and assist in vendor evaluation based on quality, cost and delivery.
• Process purchase requisitions, support purchase order issuance and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Liaise with suppliers on order confirmations, delivery schedules, pricing updates and sample coordination.
• Track supplier delivery performance and escalate issues to the Procurement Manager.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality and Operations to understand material requirements and support timely procurement.
• Prepare basic procurement reports, consolidate cost data and support spend tracking.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, supplier onboarding standards and ethical sourcing requirements.
• Assist in resolving routine supplier issues and coordinate corrective actions under supervision.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• 1‑4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or supply‑chain operations (internship experience may be considered).
• Basic understanding of procurement processes such as RFQ and PO processing.
• Ability to analyse basic cost data and work in cross‑functional environments.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin (both spoken and written) for vendor communication.
• Willingness to learn and develop procurement capabilities.
