Traffic Operator Executive – Real‑Time ITS Management

About the role

Join a future‑ready Traffic Operations Command Centre where you will monitor and manage real‑time traffic incidents using cutting‑edge Intelligent Transport Systems. The role is ideal for candidates who are tech‑savvy, data‑driven and comfortable working in a fast‑paced operational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor live traffic incidents via ITS platforms and sensors.
• Detect, flag and promptly escalate incidents and anomalies using AI and video analytics tools.
• Coordinate response efforts with internal teams and government agencies.
• Support and implement contingency plans during incidents.
• Collaborate with data and system teams to improve dashboard visualisations and automate workflow logic.
• Enhance incident‑handling strategies through data insights and decision‑support tools.
• Participate in contingency exercises and conduct After Action Reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in any discipline, preferably IT, systems, engineering or operations.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Strong situational awareness and effective communication skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure in real‑time scenarios.
• Analytical mindset with curiosity to improve workflows.
• Prior experience in a command centre or similar real‑time operational environment is advantageous.
