Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will support dedicated work packages from tendering through contract award, collaborating with engineering, project, commercial, legal and construction teams. The role ensures that suppliers meet Exyte's sourcing standards and that procurement processes run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the existing supplier base and identify new suppliers in line with Exyte's sourcing standards.
• Support the RFP process on ARIBA, including documentation preparation, issuance, and supplier guidance for timely, high‑quality responses.
• Assist in initial commercial bid evaluation, work with internal stakeholders to assess RFP compliance, supplier competitiveness, and create shortlists.
• Participate in contract clarification and negotiation, coordinating with suppliers and internal/external parties.
• Prepare final commercial tender evaluations, coordinate internal reviews, and present award recommendations for approval.
• Maintain procurement‑related databases and reports.
• Prepare purchase orders and transfer procurement knowledge to the subcontracting team after contract award.
• Communicate regularly on project progress and ensure transparency with the PSM team.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
• Initial professional experience in construction and engineering projects.
• Familiarity with SAP or ARIBA and Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).
• Commercial awareness and strong business acumen.
• Proactive attitude, result‑oriented mindset, and ability to collaborate across the company.
• Decision‑making skills and accountability.
