Production Engineer - 12-Hour Shift, Chemical Production

About the role

An entry-level Production Engineer position in chemical production at Jurong Island, Singapore, with 12-hour rotating AM/PM shifts. Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a team of Production Technicians to run production safely and efficiently.
• Support the Process Engineer in activities and projects that optimize operations and improve cost efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve plant, equipment and quality issues quickly, recommending effective countermeasures.
• Monitor plant equipment to ensure its reliability and integrity.
• Support shift operations by providing optimal operating conditions for stable plant performance and high product quality.
• Mentor and develop team members to improve their skills and performance.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of process control, troubleshooting, plant equipment and instrumentation.
• Strong analytical and technical report writing skills.
• Leadership qualities, initiative, drive and commitment.
• Ability to handle pressure and excellent communication skills.

• Remuneration package of up to $3,300 plus fixed allowances of $1,100.
