Programme Manager

About the role

Prudential is hiring a Programme Manager responsible for the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within scope and budget and aligned with business objectives. The role works closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and external partners to drive execution, manage risks and support change adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring and closure, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, timelines and resource plans.
• Track progress against plans, manage dependencies and critical paths, and keep outcomes aligned with strategic priorities.
• Set up project governance, documentation and reporting, and identify, assess and manage risks, issues and change requests.
• Escalate key risks and decisions with clear options and recommendations, and ensure compliance with policies, regulations and audit standards.
• Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, manage expectations, run steering committees and working sessions, and partner with business, operations, technology, risk and external vendors.
• Support budget and forecast preparation, track spend and resource use, and coordinate with finance and third parties on expense reporting.
• Support change management, handover of deliverables with documentation and knowledge transfer, and conduct post-implementation reviews.

Required profile

• Proven project management experience delivering cross-functional projects of moderate to high complexity.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders across business and technology teams.
• Degree holder in any discipline; project management certification is desirable.
