Project Engineer (Civil & Structural – Main Contractor)

About the role

We are looking for a Project Engineer to lead civil and structural engineering activities on a range of construction projects. You will be responsible for design review, planning and technical coordination to ensure successful delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate civil and structural works, including design review and planning.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings and technical documents for submission to authorities.
• Monitor timely submission of drawings, plans and reports to consultants, authorities and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, M&E and architectural teams to resolve technical issues.
• Supervise on‑site civil and structural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Attend project meetings, technical discussions and site inspections, and record meeting notes.
• Maintain records of test reports, Green Mark requirements and project documentation in line with quality and ISO procedures.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as required.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in structural coordination within an A1 main contractor environment, preferably on large‑scale building or condominium projects.
• Strong understanding of structural drawings, specifications and construction procedures.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills.
• Proactive and able to manage tight project deadlines.
