Project Manager – APAC (Japanese Speaking)

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end onboarding and implementation process for our APAC commercial customers. You will act as the main liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring a smooth transition from contract signing to go‑live.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full onboarding lifecycle for APAC customers, from contract to successful go‑live.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and cross‑functional teams (Sales, KYC/CDD, Legal, Credit, Risk, Boarding, Implementation).
• Develop and execute detailed project plans, monitor milestones, manage risks, and lead regular status meetings.
• Coordinate onboarding requirements, including documentation collection, system setup validation, product demos, and user training.
• Provide ongoing project reporting, meeting documentation, escalation handling, and post‑go‑live performance monitoring.
• Drive continuous process improvements, conduct project closure reviews, and ensure seamless handovers to Sales and Customer Experience teams.
• Support special projects aimed at process and operation optimization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with a proven track record in project management.
• Strong analytical, planning and organizational abilities with commercial acumen.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, able to work with all organizational levels.
• Experience managing multiple work streams and resolving internal blockers.
• Experience collaborating with third‑party vendors and outsourcing partners.
• Knowledge of card payment and merchant acquiring products is a plus.
• Fluent English; Japanese language proficiency is an advantage.
