Project Manager – Application Development (AWS)

About the role

IBM Consulting is seeking a Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of application development initiatives for our clients. You will work closely with customers to translate business needs into technical solutions, leveraging IBM, Red Hat and AWS technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle project delivery for web and mobile application development.
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets and resources across multiple engagements.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including developers, designers, QA and DevOps.
• Drive Agile/Scrum practices, ensure sprint commitments are met.
• Oversee architecture and deployment on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Identify risks, issues and dependencies and implement mitigation strategies.
• Provide regular status updates and reports to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Support pre‑sales activities such as solutioning, estimations and proposal development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 5–10+ years of project‑management experience with a focus on technical delivery.
• Proven consulting or client‑facing experience.
• Strong background in application development (web and/or mobile).
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation).
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with project‑management tools such as Jira, Confluence and MS Project.
