Project Manager – Construction Sector

About the role

The Project Manager will lead construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, budget control, and compliance with Singapore regulations. This role requires close coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and government authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules, work programs, and manpower plans.
• Coordinate construction activities, allocate resources, and monitor progress to meet deadlines.
• Supervise site engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers; resolve technical and operational issues.
• Enforce workplace safety standards and ensure compliance with BCA, MOM, LTA and other authorities.
• Monitor project budgets, variation orders, and cost performance; prepare progress and cost reports.
• Maintain client and stakeholder relationships, attend progress meetings, and deliver project updates.
• Prepare and manage project documentation, method statements, and site records.
• Lead and support the project team, fostering teamwork and effective communication.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in construction project management.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore construction regulations and safety standards.
