Project Officer, Centre for Health, Culture and Society

About the role

The Centre for Health, Culture and Society (CHCS) at NTU CoHASS is a new interdisciplinary research hub working at the intersection of health, culture and society, running a taught Masters programme and maintaining partnerships with Singapore hospitals and arts organisations. It is seeking a Project Officer to provide administrative, financial and operational support to the Director and the Centre's research and teaching activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Director and Centre staff.
• Manage budgets and financial administration across all Centre projects and funding streams.
• Support grant application preparation and post-award compliance.
• Coordinate the Centre's events programme, including conferences, seminars and healthcare workshops.
• Manage Centre communications, website and records.
• Liaise with NTU administrative offices and external partners on behalf of the Centre.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Prior experience in an administrative or project coordination role.
• Experience in financial administration and budget tracking.
• Familiarity with grant management or university administrative systems is an advantage; an interest in the Centre's interdisciplinary mission is desirable.
