Property Officer (Estate Management)

About the role

A real estate and facilities management team is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Property Officer (Estate Officer) to support the day-to-day management of buildings and assets within its portfolio. The role suits someone interested in real estate operations and facilities management who wants to build a well-rounded career in estate management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day management and administration of buildings and assets in the portfolio
• Coordinate with tenants, contractors and service providers to keep operations running smoothly
• Carry out regular site inspections to monitor conditions, spot maintenance needs and check compliance with safety and building standards
• Follow up on maintenance requests, repairs and improvement works from start to finish
• Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports and documentation
• Support the renewal and administration of tenancy agreements, licences and related contracts
• Liaise with authorities and external stakeholders on building compliance and regulatory matters
• Help monitor budgets, process invoices and track expenditure
• Respond promptly to tenant and building user feedback and queries

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Real Estate, Estate Management, Facilities Management, Building or a related field
• Prior experience in estate or facilities management is advantageous; candidates with relevant qualifications but no experience are also welcome
• Good knowledge of estate and tenancy administration and building maintenance practices
• Meticulous approach to documentation and record keeping
• Valid driver's licence is an advantage for site visits

Required skills

• Strong organisational skills and good written and spoken English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with estate or facilities management software is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision
