Purchasing Officer (Corporate)

About the role

You will be responsible for purchasing essential products and services that support SID's daily operations. The role works closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and develop procurement strategies that improve efficiency and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate vendors, manage tenders and execute contracts.
• Carry out procurement operations while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Identify and mitigate procurement risks.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve procurement issues and improve business processes.

Required profile

• Singapore citizenship is mandatory.
• Open to fresh graduates and mid‑career candidates.
• Experience in purchasing and materials management is preferred.
• Familiarity with legal contracts and basic understanding of finance, logistics and commercial terms.
• Basic computing skills with exposure to procurement‑related software/systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, planning and coordination abilities.
• Motivated team player and independent self‑starter.
