QA Engineer – Up to $3,500, AWS, Transport Provided

About the role

The QA Engineer will ensure that raw materials, in‑process and finished products meet strict quality standards for a US‑based medical and healthcare packaging manufacturer. The role involves daily inspections, defect investigations and collaboration with production and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections and testing on incoming raw materials, in‑process and finished products.
• Monitor production processes, identify quality issues and potential defects.
• Investigate product defects, support root‑cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain accurate QA records, inspection reports and test results.
• Assist with internal and external quality audits and prepare quality performance reports.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives to reduce defects and enhance manufacturing processes.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management or related field.
• At least 1 year of QA/QC experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of quality inspection, root‑cause analysis, CAPA and problem‑solving methods.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or Quality Management Systems is an advantage.
• Ability to read technical specifications, drawings and quality standards.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective teamwork with production and engineering functions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
