QAQC Manager (Temporary)

About the role

The QAQC Manager will lead quality assurance and control activities for a major construction project in Singapore. This temporary position reports to the Integrated Project Management Team (IPMT) and ensures that all engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning work meets ISO 9001 and contractual standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan and related procedures.
• Establish QA/QC requirements compliant with ISO 9001 and project specifications.
• Prepare and maintain Quality Risk Matrices and criticality ratings for systems, equipment and materials.
• Conduct quality induction and training for IPMT, EPC contractors, subcontractors and construction teams.
• Monitor vendor and supplier compliance with QA/QC requirements.
• Perform QA/QC audits of engineering activities and manage audits during the EPC phase.
• Coordinate third‑party certification and inspection of lifting devices, relief valves, pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
• Lead multidisciplinary QA/QC teams covering civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation disciplines.
• Oversee preparation of quality dossiers and data books for all project phases.

Required profile

• Proven experience in QA/QC management within construction or engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and industry quality standards.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and communicate with EPC contractors and vendors.
• Detail‑oriented with solid documentation and audit skills.
