Quantity Surveyor - ACMV/Electrical

About the role

Fuku is hiring a full-time Quantity Surveyor specializing in ACMV (Air Conditioning, Mechanical Ventilation) and electrical projects in Singapore. The role covers cost estimation, quantity take-offs, tender support and cost control across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project cost estimates, budgets and financial reports for ACMV/Electrical projects.
• Carry out detailed quantity take-offs and measurements from drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate cost control and financial performance.
• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Monitor progress and prepare regular cost reports to track budget adherence and spot cost overruns.
• Assist in preparing tender documents, including bills of quantities and pricing schedules.
• Visit sites to verify quantities for payment claims.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders on cost issues and advise on cost management.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably on ACMV/Electrical projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction cost management, estimation and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; able to work independently and manage several projects at once.
• Familiarity with local construction regulations and industry standards.
• Professional certification in quantity surveying or a related field is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in quantity surveying software such as AutoCAD, CostX or similar.
• Cost estimation, bill of quantities and financial reporting.
