Quantity Surveyor – Construction Tender & M&E

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor will work under the Tender Team to plan, control and monitor tender drawings, documents and Bills of Quantities for both tender and post‑tender phases. The role also supports site progress verification, claims management and material balance monitoring during project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Track and manage all tender documents, drawings and corrigenda following the document‑control process.
• Verify tender drawings and prepare detailed tender enquiries for accurate costing.
• Collaborate with supervisors to obtain quotations, select qualified subcontractors/vendors and distribute tender documents.
• Perform quantity take‑offs within established timelines to support cost estimation.
• Assist in evaluating tenders and preparing compliant submission documents.
• Maintain organized records for audit and substantiation purposes.
• Interpret Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) drawings for tender and execution activities.
• Conduct site verifications of variations and support claims submissions.
• Assist project managers in evaluating and certifying completed work.
• Verify subcontractors’ claims and monitor payment status in coordination with contract management.
• Monitor orders during execution and report balance amounts.

Required profile

• Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Graduate Diploma or higher in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge and experience with M&E system requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and operate with minimal supervision.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office.
• Quick learner willing to explore new technologies and skill sets.

• Monthly salary SGD 3,500 – 6,000.
• 1‑month annual bonus (after 12 months of service).

• 14 days of annual leave, capped at 21 days.
• Full‑time schedule: Mon‑Thu 8:30 am‑6:00 pm, Fri 8:30 am‑5:30 pm.
