Quantity Surveyor – Façade Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management for façade projects. You will be involved from the tender stage through to project close‑out, ensuring financial control and risk mitigation throughout.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost plans for tendering, including material, labour, equipment, overheads and contingencies.
• Prepare and submit tender documents and negotiate contract terms with clients.
• Identify and mitigate risks that could affect cost, quality or schedule.
• Seek cost‑effective solutions to meet project objectives.
• Monitor actual costs against the cost plan, flag overruns and propose corrective actions.
• Manage variations, assess cost and time impacts, and negotiate with clients and subcontractors.
• Review subcontractor progress claims, issue payment certificates and settle final accounts.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in façade construction cost management.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to work hard under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Preferably fluent in Mandarin for communication with Chinese colleagues.
