Recruitment Consultant – Built Environment

About the role

Bayes Recruitment is seeking a 360° Recruitment Consultant to specialise in the built‑environment sector. You will act as a trusted advisor to both clients and candidates, driving business development and delivering high‑quality talent solutions across construction and design disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain client relationships through outreach, networking and market presence.
• Develop and manage a candidate pipeline of both passive and active professionals in construction and design.
• Stay up‑to‑date on project pipelines, market trends and talent conditions within the built‑environment vertical.
• Achieve monthly and annual billing targets by matching the right talent to the right opportunities.

Required profile

• Genuine curiosity about the built‑environment market and a belief that the right appointment matters more than speed.
• Prior experience as a recruiter in construction, design or related fields (duration not critical).
• Ability to think long‑term, work independently and thrive in a small, fast‑moving practice.
