Regional Finance Lead – Technology Startup

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Regional Finance Lead to build and head the finance function of a fast‑growing technology startup. The role will support expansion across Singapore and the wider region, acting as a strategic partner to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead finance, accounting, treasury and reporting for Singapore and regional entities.
• Prepare monthly management reports, financial statements, budgets, forecasts and cash‑flow projections.
• Partner with business leaders to deliver financial analysis and recommendations.
• Design and implement finance policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax and audit requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Manage relationships with auditors, tax consultants, banks and service providers.
• Support annual budgeting, business planning, fundraising and investor reporting.
• Monitor working capital, cash flow and overall financial performance.
• Drive finance transformation, process improvements and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA or CA preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of finance and accounting experience.
• Background in technology startups, high‑growth companies or regional finance environments.
• Proven track record establishing finance processes, controls and reporting frameworks.
• Mandarin proficiency required for stakeholder communication and document review.
