Regional General Manager

About the role

Onto Innovation seeks a Regional General Manager to lead its growth across the semiconductor value chain in the region. The role combines strategic planning, C‑level customer engagement, and full‑cycle business execution to drive revenue, market share and technology adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a multi‑year regional growth strategy aligned with semiconductor node transitions, advanced packaging and heterogeneous integration.
• Build and maintain C‑level relationships, positioning Onto as a strategic partner for yield, cost and roadmap challenges.
• Act as the executive face of Onto in the region, strengthening brand credibility and market presence.
• Attract, develop and retain high‑performance commercial, applications and service teams.
• Hold local directorship and legal powers of attorney, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Deliver AOP commitments while driving above‑market growth in revenue, share and ASP.
• Identify and win tool‑of‑record positions across key accounts and technology nodes.
• Partner with Business Units to accelerate new product introductions, capture design‑ins and expand service attach rates.
• Lead structured engagement models such as Executive Business Reviews and Technical Review Meetings.
• Own the full business lifecycle from pipeline forecasting to cash collection, ensuring high forecast accuracy.
• Implement scalable processes and KPIs across Sales, Service and Applications to drive productivity.
• Provide data‑driven insights on market dynamics, customer roadmaps, competitive positioning and business risks.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Track record of defining and executing multi‑year growth strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to build and sustain C‑level customer relationships.
• Experience managing commercial, applications and service teams.
• Knowledge of local regulatory and legal requirements for corporate entities.
• Strong record of delivering revenue and market‑share targets.
