Senior Account Manager

About the role

Givaudan is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to lead and grow its business with key customers across the Asia‑Pacific region. Based in Singapore, you will act as the primary liaison between Givaudan’s creative, technical and production teams and strategic accounts, ensuring the company’s fragrance and flavour solutions are positioned for success.

Key responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth and profitability for designated accounts through strategic planning, forecasting and budget management.
• Lead all Givaudan activities for assigned accounts, from brief handling to product launch, coordinating cross‑functional teams including Creative Fragrance Management, Perfumery, Marketing, Consumer Research, Applications and Technology.
• Develop and present comprehensive Account and Category Plans, negotiate pricing agreements, and monitor KPIs such as sales, gross profit and win rate.
• Identify new business opportunities, defend existing business, and articulate Givaudan’s value proposition to senior decision‑makers.

Required profile

• University degree with more than 10 years of overall experience, including at least 6 years in a senior sales or account management role within the fragrance, flavour or related industry.
• Proven track record of winning new business and expanding revenue with key accounts.
• Strong analytical ability to assess brand strategies, market positioning and competitive landscape.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation and relationship‑building skills with senior customers and internal stakeholders.

Required skills

• Fluent verbal and written command of English.
• Deep olfactive knowledge and fluency in fragrance language.
• Competent negotiation and presentation skills.
