About the role

The Regional Investigations Director, APAC leads a team of investigators responsible for internal compliance and business ethics investigations across Stryker’s Asia‑Pacific operations. This senior position combines strategic leadership with hands‑on investigative work, ensuring complex cases are resolved efficiently and transparently.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the regional investigations team, overseeing internal compliance and ethics investigations, including alleged violations of law, the Code of Conduct, and internal policies.
• Act as a player‑coach on the most complex investigations, ensuring timely, proportionate, and high‑quality outcomes.
• Oversee external counsel, auditors, and third‑party investigators as needed.
• Chair the Regional Investigations Oversight Committee, providing case oversight, root‑cause analysis, risk awareness, and reporting to senior leaders.
• Partner with the Director of Business Ethics and the Program Lead to shape a data‑driven investigations approach.
• Identify regional trends, risk patterns, and resource needs, aligning investigations with global program objectives.
• Contribute to quarterly and annual reporting for the Chief Compliance Officer.
• Collaborate closely with Legal on compliance investigations and related government or litigation matters.
