Regulatory Specialist – Southeast Asia

About the role

Vilgain is seeking a Regulatory Specialist to support the launch and market entry of its food and dietary supplement products across Southeast Asian markets. The role focuses on translating local regulations into actionable requirements and ensuring compliance throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Own notification and registration processes for food and supplement products in SEA markets.
• Research and interpret local regulations, turning them into clear, practical requirements for product teams.
• Prepare, submit and maintain regulatory documentation, including labels, claims, and supporting files.
• Coordinate with local consultants, importers, distributors and authorities to secure licences, permits and import approvals.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on existing and future products.
• Support new product launches by identifying regulatory risks early and embedding requirements into development.
• Maintain an organized knowledge base and scalable processes for future expansion.

Required profile

• Experience in regulatory affairs or product compliance within food, dietary supplements or a related sector.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate national regulatory frameworks and manage product notifications and registrations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple markets and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent research skills with the capacity to translate legislation into practical steps.
• Fluent English communication; additional Southeast Asian language knowledge is a plus.
