Resident Engineer – Civil & Structural

About the role

The Resident Engineer (RE‑C&S) will lead and supervise civil and structural works on complex construction projects, ensuring compliance with statutory codes and project requirements. Reporting to the CAG, QP(S), QP(Geo) and project consultants, the role drives quality control, progress reporting and site coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Lead civil and structural site staff to monitor, supervise and inspect works as directed.
• Apply statutory code knowledge to oversee site supervision, quality control, construction administration and progress reporting.
• Organise and coordinate site activities to meet project timelines and standards.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage teams effectively and resolve issues promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of civil and structural engineering experience, with at least 5 years supervising similar‑size projects.
• Degree in civil and structural engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
• Accreditation with the Joint Accreditation Committee of IES and ACES.
• Proven ability to lead site teams and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
