Restaurant Manager – All-Day Dining

About the role

Stamford Social is seeking an experienced, hands‑on Restaurant Manager to support the General Manager in running the day‑to‑day front‑of‑house operations of its all‑day dining concept. This operational role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading service, and ensuring smooth operations across breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Key responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in overseeing front‑of‑house activities.
• Take ownership of shift execution, service standards, team coordination and guest experience.
• Lead the floor during service, managing station planning, briefings, handovers and daily operational reporting.
• Monitor service flow and intervene proactively to maintain efficiency and quality.
• Coach, train and develop the service team while upholding performance and discipline.
• Handle guest feedback, complaints and service recovery professionally.
• Ensure the restaurant is fully prepared for service – cleanliness, setup, staffing and operational readiness.
• Assist with rostering, manpower planning and day‑to‑day administrative duties.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs, operational standards and health‑and‑safety requirements.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager or similar leadership role in a restaurant, café, hotel or hospitality concept.
• Strong understanding of front‑of‑house operations, service standards and daily restaurant flow.
• Confident leading shifts, managing teams and maintaining high standards during busy periods.
• Hands‑on leadership style with willingness to work alongside the team on the floor.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Comfortable handling guest feedback, complaints and service recovery.
• Experience in staff training, performance management and team development.
• Availability to work weekends, public holidays and rotating shifts as required.
