Scenario Supply Planning AI Lead

About the role

The Scenario Supply Planning AI Lead will join HP’s Global Supply Chain Planning team to shift planning from static analysis to dynamic, AI‑enabled scenario modeling. Working as an individual contributor, you will partner with planners, manufacturing, and analytics teams to improve decision quality, speed, and consistency across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain reusable capacity‑planning scenarios for recurring business challenges.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into structured what‑if analyses with clear assumptions and constraints.
• Evaluate trade‑offs across service, cost, utilization, inventory, and operational risk.
• Provide decision‑ready recommendations, sensitivity analyses, and quantified business impact.
• Support planners during capacity disruptions, supply constraints, demand shifts, new product introductions, and strategic planning cycles.
• Continuously refine scenario templates based on outcomes and planner feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Operations Research, Computer Science, Business Analytics or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, SIOP/IBP, operations analytics, inventory management, or planning technology.
• Strong understanding of global supply planning, S&OP/S&OE processes, and large‑dataset analysis.
