Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to manage full sets of accounts for a portfolio of clients in Singapore. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and local tax regulations, and provides timely insights to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain full sets of accounts including receivables, payables, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with regulatory standards.
• Prepare and submit GST returns in accordance with IRAS requirements.
• Assist with year‑end closing, audit schedules and tax computations.
• Liaise with clients, auditors and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth communication and compliance.
• Deliver accurate financial reports for decision‑making.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for audit readiness.
• Identify and support process improvements and system enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• 4‑5 years of relevant accounting experience with exposure to Singapore tax matters.
• Strong knowledge of SFRS and GST regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or MYOB.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
